Hey everyone, if you have been doing your application for the Yeli program this is just a reminder.
You have got just two weeks from today to get your application submitted for the 2018
Mandela Washington Fellowship. Applications are due no later than October 11, 2017. Now you see what I mean hun?
I know for many this has seemed a daunting challenge. But as anyone will tell you, if the goal is worth achieving, it’s worth the effort. You can find the link to the application as well as information on the Fellowship and helpful tips at https://yali.state.gov/apply and on theYALI Network Facebook page. You will also want to make sure that you can access the form without any technical difficulties before it’s due. That way you can work through any problems you may be having before the deadline.
I have heard from several of you that because you didn’t make it last year or the year before, you don’t think you should try again. That kind of thinking won’t get you where you want to be as a leader. I’ll let one of my favorite quotes from Mr. Nelson Mandela speak for me here, “It always seems impossible until it's done.” Get your application done now!
